Hi so here I am at 1.25am........ Visited Over Easy (1 Fullerton) on Wednesday with the Converse Gang (Livia, Weilin, Yanhong) and we agreed to dress up for the occasion. The weather was really awesome that day (cold and drizzling) and we all happened to be wearing dresses with cardigans and slippers. As usual we forgot to take photos of ourselves but please enjoy the food pictures. Mine and Weilin's Cream of Potato!!!! It's so nice I wish I had moreeee. It's a wonderful soup to drink while it's rainy and you're in bed. Jia's duck confit with quail eggs and walnut sauce. Not bad. Livia ate this too~  Yanhong's salad thing with pear and blue cheese!!! The names are all too complicated. Pan-seared sea bass with corn risotto. It was served on a HUUUUMONGOUS plate but the food itself only occupied like 1/10th of the plate? -_- It was okay. The fish tasted damn chinese and the risotto was meh. Jia's beef thingy with truffle fries. ...

Getting lazier and lazier by the day to update my blog how the fuck did I post every day last time -_- Feb 28 I got sick halfway through work (either food poisoning or stomach flu but probably stomach flu) but thankfully my fever went away. I haven't felt that horrible in damn long (HFMD was close) and I had diarrhea every 5 minutes until MY ASSHOLE HURT AND MY LEGS BECAME JELLY knnbccb and it was Feb 29 which means all my coupons were gonna expire!!!! And anyway I felt a lot better (diarrhea every 2 hours) so we headed out to eat Nandos and watch a movie. Can't remember the name of this drink but it was made of pomegranate and fizzy stuff and it tasted good! :D Whole chicken!!!!!!!! In mild sauce cuz I don't want to shit fire. Supper the other day at Fei Siong. Not thaaaaaaaaaat nice but it's there to satisfy your bak chor mee craving. Laksa's okay too. I decided to be adventurous and caring and loving (and not study...the things I'd do to avoid studying range from nail art to culinary adventures) and cook apple pork ribs soup ~ I wish I knew how to make the soup more savoury. Meh. The pork was damn good but too much green apples in the soup. Should use red apples. My next challenge is Lao Huang Gua tang!!! Also with pork ribs. I LOVE PORK!!!!!!!!!!! And then the following day I cooked papaya with white fungus dessert and it was good :D I love cooking~ OH this pot my mother has is so pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the colour!!!! I think every year I try to make my birthday as ordinary as any other day because I feel goddamn uncomfortable when people say happy birthday to my face and I zone out during the birthday song (I'm sorry but I appreciate your good intentions though!!!) and I just feel weird that it's my birthday because so many other people were also born on this day BIRTHDAYS ARE TOO COMMERCIALISED WHEN IT'S MY OWN. WAH it's been 11 days since I last blogged wtf!!!! I've been schooling, working, tumblr-ing, and recently, 9gag-ing. Now I understand why people blog so little. (Coincidentally this is my 2011th post) You've been a good year. What else did I manage to do uhhh I managed to dye my hair 5 times this year and completely destroyed it, turned 18 waddafug and nope not going to learn how to drive because of safety reasons.
