Brunch at Over Easy

Hi so here I am at 1.25am........

Visited Over Easy (1 Fullerton) on Wednesday with the Converse Gang (Livia, Weilin, Yanhong) and we agreed to dress up for the occasion. The weather was really awesome that day (cold and drizzling) and we all happened to be wearing dresses with cardigans and slippers. As usual we forgot to take photos of ourselves but please enjoy the food pictures.

Mine and Weilin's Cream of Potato!!!! It's so nice I wish I had moreeee. It's a wonderful soup to drink while it's rainy and you're in bed.

Jia's duck confit with quail eggs and walnut sauce. Not bad. Livia ate this too~ 

Yanhong's salad thing with pear and blue cheese!!! The names are all too complicated.

Pan-seared sea bass with corn risotto. It was served on a HUUUUMONGOUS plate but the food itself only occupied like 1/10th of the plate? -_- It was okay. The fish tasted damn chinese and the risotto was meh.

Jia's beef thingy with truffle fries. I finished the fries for her -_-

OE egg benny~~~ Livia's and Weilin's! The egg tasted....super weird..... The chef (Jia la lol) said it was because they poached the egg in vinegar so the egg will keep its shape AND THE TASTE IS COMPLETELY RUINED do not try this.

Didn't manage to take a photo of Yanhong's To Die For burger. It was average for her.

Drinking tea like a sir~ Damn cute teabags ^_^

Conclusion: Good atmosphere to chill and drink tea but terrible place for brunch because the food doesn't quite match the price. We spent around $156 in total. Terribly overpriced place but I wouldn't mind going there for drinks and snacks at night cuz there's 20% off after midnight! 

Weeelll results will be out later today (my page says at 3pm kns) I am dying of curiosity!!!! I wanna know how I did. Been working every other day like a workaholic for the sake of Wuhan!!! Also been having lots of dreams about Wuhan.

Looking forward to so many things!!! Thanks to XX and Bong Qiu Qiu I will start believing in the Law of Attraction. GOOD THINGS WILL COME MY WAY NOW PLEASE THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello I'm sitting in the quite abandoned m:idea office (everyone went out for lunch) and there is absolutely nothing to do. We finished our work liao. So here I am clearing my Korea trip post!!!!! It usually costs 40 000 won (which is about SGD $45) but we got a 30% tourist discount cuz we picked up this brochure from a tourist information desk at Namdaemun, so it was 28 000 won, and then we had this prepaid credit card (which you can use to shop at convenience stores, shops under Lotte  company I think and Lottle World) which has 20 000 won inside courtesy of KTO !!! I've had a lot of epiphanies lately... not a bad thing but it is making me go a bit cray cray. I *just* realised how wonderful 2012 was for me. I always knew it was good but it just dawned on me that it was probably the best year I've ever had, and that is good enough. I'm so thankful for everyone in my life now I could cry (I did). I've learnt so much and as much as I want to remain debt free I know I will forever remain in debt to everyone who has helped me. Okay I will get repetitive because that is the limit of my vocabulary/adjectives/English in general and I am seriously beyond happy when I look back and reflect on 2012.  Special shout out to Livia who is the best and most supportive chingu anyone can have. :') Okay Phay you too you whiny bitch kidding I love you la hahaha. And then there's Manjun, Gen, Weilin, Yanhong, Amira etc and there they are, the best people I've met in Poly :') And the guys la but they always bo jio except Isaac HAH

Changes

I hate changes, or more specifically, I hate being out of my comfort zone. It's a miracle (and blessing) I like to travel. This past 1-2 years has been so full of changes I am still struggling to catch up. I've changed jobs again (yay). I honestly thought 2015 was shitty but 2016 turned out worse (not because of the world news I am not that far sighted). I lost a friend who died by suicide. And I feel so selfish (because really, it's for my comfort) saying this but I miss her so much. We started work at my previous company on the same day, and I saw her, this young looking girl also at the office, and I remember saying to myself "Omg is she also a designer? I must do better than her." But nah she turned out to be in the marketing team and also one of the best colleagues ever. The year before I lost an acquaintance, also to suicide. We weren't close but we saw each other a few times after graduating, mostly at parties. His funeral was the 4th I'd atte
