10 days of korea final part

Hello I'm sitting in the quite abandoned m:idea office (everyone went out for lunch) and there is absolutely nothing to do. We finished our work liao. So here I am clearing my Korea trip post!!!!!

Day 9 at Lotte World and Myeongdong

The absolutely best part about Lotte World was we only paid $8.90 for the one day special pass :D!!!!! It usually costs 40 000 won (which is about SGD $45) but we got a 30% tourist discount cuz we picked up this brochure from a tourist information desk at Namdaemun, so it was 28 000 won, and then we had this prepaid credit card (which you can use to shop at convenience stores, shops under Lotte  company I think and Lottle World) which has 20 000 won inside courtesy of KTO!!! We did surveys and shit ahaha. So we only needed to pay 8000 won after the discount and using the card.

It was quite empty because we went early but there were still queues and all. Didn't have to wait that long though! The first ride we went on was THE ATLANTIS. I luuuuuuurve that ride. Even Weilin who is terrified of roller-coasters went on with us (twice). Hehehehe.

The first thing we did was to get to the souvenir shop and buy some fantastic hairbands. HAHAHA.

Weilin's a bumblebee and Livia's a leopard and I'm a fabulous pretty kitty.

Left two: Tree Swing. God I still feel nauseous when I think about it..... Spinning spinning ugh.

Top right: ON THE WAKIKI WAVE!!!!!!!!!!! Quite lame but better than Escape's Rainbow -_-

Bottom right: GYRO DROP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!

Taken while queuing for rides and top right was while we were on the Comet. Waited damn long for that ride and we didn't even know what it was LOL. It turned out to be a galaxy themed underground roller-coaster. Very worth it!!!

Collected our Magic Pass for Atlantis teehee because the queue was very long. Went to have lunch first. Took this around 11am? So had two hours to wander about. Magic passes are only available for those who have the 1 day special pass. The other passes only allow you to roam the park and you have to pay around 3000 to 4000 won if you wanna take rides.

There was a giant snowglobe photo thing going on so we went in and had our photos taken!

The white streaks are really ice btw so it was rather cold.

I felt very lame and weird going round and round but it's all so pretty ^^

Top right: GIANT LOOP!!!!!!! Went on it with Livia. Very thrilling to be going upside down. My brain got extra blood rush.

The rest: Uh otw out to the outdoor theme park on the monorail. Very cute neh.

Green tea ice cream!!! Which cost us the opportunity to take another ride. Goddamn it.

But it was nice. So yay.

Went to Star Avenue (again, you need the 1 Day Special Pass or pay extra) and it was so meh...

The only people I know were Kim Hyun Joon, 2PM, Super Junior, Rain........... 

Rushed to Fubu at Myeongdong because we heard T.O.P was gonna make an appearance........but no. It was just his standee  and a photowall -___________- Hate the translator who didn't translate properly leh. Anyway bought Krispy Kreme to bring back to Singapore!!! Yay!!! The service was so annoying knn. Nvm. Good donuts.

I promised myself if I ever see the rabbits again I'd buy them. So I did.

Was only planning to buy the 7000 won (keychain) or 10 000 won (first row) one but I ended up buying the 20 000 won (middle row) one wtf. And a 7000 won one for my mom.

I wish I could buy all of them T_T

Had porridge for dinner with Livia's sister at a random porridge shop~~~ 

And that's Livia with the rabbits!!!

We bought twin rabbits unknowingly.

Sigh last night was spent packing and re-packing. And then in the middle of the night we decided to have a photoshoot for the rabbits cuz they were so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Livia's bedroom had two more rabbits so we took them down as well LOL.

Wrote in the guest book because it's a custom at mama's house. Haha. 

We had supper after that at 7-11 wtf and Livia spent all her money there LOL. Their 7-11 is really amazing. We bought instant noodles, canned eggs, vacuum packed eggs (shit craving for them now), green tea powder and soju.

Left bright and early the next morning cuz we gotta meet Yanhong!!! Mama sent us off and hugged us before we boarded the airport bus :'( 

I miss Mama's house in Chungmuro :'(

Last day at the airport

Anyway~ waited for Yanhong (she had 8 hours of transit time) and then we had brunch!!! She's in Hawaii now enjoying herself I think. Haha. ALL THE BEST YANHONG. GO SURFING WITH SEA TURTLES!!!!!!! We'll reunite in Feb next year~ :D

We were running late for our flight but we haven't taken a group photo so this is damn rushed and anyhow and taken by a Korean lady on the phone but YAY Converse Gang in Korea! :)

Uneventful and empty flight back with lots of waiting time up until the last minute where they changed the boarding gate so we had to rush to another side of the airport wtf. -_-

I miss Korea. I miss the good food, the cooling weather, the somewhat cheap shopping, the architecture, the incredibly cheap and good cosmetics, everythinggg. I wish we had more time and appetite to explore more places and eat everything we see.

Wait for me Korea, I'LL RETURN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh uh trip details!!!

Livia bought the tickets for all of us on Malaysia Airline's website because they were having a promotion. She also found a homestay for us through KTO (click here for more details/this is where we stayed).Yes she's very amazing like that HAHAHA the itinerary was also planned by her. Google is her best friend. And also you must be very meticulous and willing to read a lot and source through forums and reviews and like have luck as well as spontaneous friends. OH and a credit card to do bookings for airtickets.

SO LIKE GUYS, QUIT COMPLAINING AND BEING JEALOUS OF PEOPLE WHO CAN GO OVERSEAS. YOU CAN TOO!!!

I spent about SGD $2k in total. $660+ for round trip ticket, $337+ for 10 days and 9 nights at Mama's house and $1.1k for everything else (food, transport, shopping).

You don't have to like K-pop to love Korea. It's just a big big bonus. Hahahaha. Bye!!!!!
